The academic load in medical school can be a difficult
and demanding. The Academic and Enrichment office
provides confidential academic and personal counseling to all medical
students and educational diagnostic testing when needed.
It offers a number of support groups and provides services or referral
for stress management and resolution of personal problems.
Students may seek assistance identifying their learning styles, and/or
analyzing their study skills and test taking techniques.
The office provides individual and group tutoring free of charge.
Students may request a tutor or inquire about becoming a peer tutor
through the Janet L. Moore, PsyD,
Director of Student Assessment and Enrichment Programs.
