DUCoM Student E-Mail Lists
(effective July 29, 2008)

lists.drexel.edu

You must use your Drexel (or DrexelMed) e-mail account to send to these lists.  If you attempt to send to the list using an outside e-mail account (e.g.: Comcast, Verizon, AOL , Hotmail, etc.), the posting will be rejected for security reasons.

If you want to send the same e-mail to multiple class lists, send it to no more than 2 list addresses at a time. You will have to send the message out several times to different lists, but this policy also helps to reduce unwanted spam.

You can include attachments to classlist emails, HOWEVER the total size of all attachments cannot exceed 500kb.

The class e-mail lists are to be used ONLY for school related correspondence with your classmates (both curricular-related and extracurricular). They should NOT be used for any commercial purpose, and you should always adhere to the University Acceptable Use and E-Mail policies.


HOW TO SUBSCRIBE
If you would like to receive a copy of all messages sent to one or more of these lists, you can subscribe by sending a plain text message (from your Drexel or Drexelmed e-mail account)

TO:              listserv@drexel.edu
SUBJECT:    (leave blank)
BODY:         subscribe name-of-list firstname lastname
                    For example:    subscribe com2006ifm-list John Doe
 

Substitute your actual first and last name for the words "firstname" and "lastname".  You can substitute the name of any list for "name-of-list", just be sure to OMIT "@lists.drexel.edu" from the name of the list. 

Also, please note that in the email address, there is no final "e" in "listserv". You will know that your subscription request was successful when you receive a welcome message to the list.

HOW TO UNSUBSCRIBE
If you would like to be removed from a list, you can unsubscribe by sending a plain text message (from your Drexel or Drexelmed e-mail account)

TO:              listserv@drexel.edu
SUBJECT:    (leave blank)
BODY:         unsubscribe name-of-list
                    For example:    unsubscribe com2006ifm-list
 
You will need to substitute the name of any list for "name-of-list", just be sure to OMIT "@lists.drexel.edu" from the name of the list. 

Also, please note that in the email address, there is no final "e" in "listserv". You will know that your unsubscription request was successful when you receive a notice that you have been removed.
