Where to Buy a Computer and other accessories

Drexel IRT has negotiated discounts with several major computer manufacturers such as Lenovo (IBM), Dell, Hewlett-Packard and Apple. Please refer to the Drexel IRT's Computer Purchases page for details.

If you decide to purchase a computer through a retail computer or electronics store be sure to print out the Computer Requirement page and take it along.

When you buy a new notebook you may be able to choose what operating system it will come with. We recommend that you select Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Ultimate. Windows XP Professional is also acceptable although it's hard to actually find a new notebook with XP Professional. The University also provides a copy of Microsoft Office 2007.
