    USING THE WEB-BASED STUDENT HANDBOOK

The Drexel University College of Medicine Student Handbook is a web-based publication for use by students enrolled at Drexel University College of Medicine.  It includes or is linked to general information about the curriculum, facilities, student services, academic and other policies, including graduation requirements.  The Student Handbook does not contain detailed information specific to individual courses and course content.  That information is made available in individual course syllabuses.  The Student Handbook contains general information about individual third-year clinical clerkships and about the clinical training sites.  It contains information about the Pathway System for students in the final year of medical school.

The content of Drexel University College of Medicine’s Student Handbook is informational only and not to be regarded as a contract between any student and the college of medicine.  Drexel University College of Medicine may at any time, change any provisions, curriculum requirements, teaching facilities and affiliated teaching sites, bylaws, rules, regulations, policies, or procedures as may be necessary in the interest of the University, the College of Medicine, and/or its students.

Students are responsible for knowing medical school policies and procedures.  When necessary, students should verify any information about curriculum requirements, teaching facilities and affiliated teaching sites, by-laws, rules, regulations and policies, procedures or other information with an Associate Dean of either Student Affairs or Medical Education.  The Handbook can be accessed through the "Current Students" link on the Drexel University College of Medicine web site.  A copy of the Student Handbook printed from the web site will be available in the library at Queen Lane.
