Teens and Families

DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM:

Located in North Philadelphia, on the campus of St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, the Center for Grieving Children, Teens, and Families provides support groups  for family members who have lost a loved one.  Medical students assist in the facilitation of support groups for children and teens. 

PLEASE NOTE:  There will be an orientation session on September 8th, 2007 at the Center for Grieving Children for all interested students.

TIME COMMITMENT:

Groups meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.  Students must commit to attend one group session two to three times per month throughout the academic year (the schedule will work around your exam schedule).
