The College of Medicine is firmly committed to producing a diverse population of physicians. Working cooperatively with other faculty and staff of the Office of Student Affairs, the Minority Affairs staff provides personal and academic support and a positive learning environment to help minority students realize their professional goals. Through these efforts, the College of Medicine has become an historical leader in the number of minority medical students it trains.
