Bridging the Gaps Community Health Internship Program
The Community Health Internship Program is a seven-week, paid summer internship for students completing their first year of a graduate-level health-discipline program.
Drexel interns are from the following programs: Medicine, Nursing, Creative Arts in Therapy, Law, and Public Health. Interns work with disadvantaged populations at community sites four days a week, and spend one day each week in training.
Applications are available beginning February 1st, 2013, at http://www.bridgingthegaps.info. In addition, Drexel applicants must send a one-page essay on why they wish to participate in the program to Lidyvez.mejia@drexelmed.edu by February 15, 2013.
