Welcome to the Office of Community Experience
Our mission is to integrate meaningful community service and reflective learning to prepare medical students to address socioeconomic determinants of disease and become community-responsive physicians.
To meet these goals, the Office of Community Experience coordinates the following programs:

First-year required courses on social determinants of health and community responsive medicine (Community Education Experience and the Community Health Component)
